The Setup:

The US Soybean Export Council brought its major international event, Soy Connext 2025, to the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C. As a high-scale hybrid summit, the conference spanned across a main Plenary Room and multiple breakout spaces, requiring a robust multi-language setup to bridge the gap for global stakeholders. The linguistic scope was vast, covering seven diverse target languages from English. While the client provided their own trusted team of interpreters, they needed a language services partner who could take full ownership of the technical execution, equipment infrastructure, and interpreter management both on the floor and in the cloud.

The Approach:

To deliver a premium experience without overwhelming the venue setup, the Interprenet team engineered a hybrid language management strategy. Onsite, our dedicated project manager and technical lead—supported by two technical assistants—managed a heavy hardware deployment. This included stationary transmitters, signal emitters, and 600 individual headset receivers distributed to the live audience.

To bridge the client’s interpreters with the physical headsets, we deployed our specialty cloud-based RSI interpretation platform and specialized audio routing boxes. This allowed the real-time interpretation to stream cleanly from the digital platform directly into the audience's physical headsets. Our technical team ran extensive pre-event equipment testing with the eight interpreters and provided live, continuous floor monitoring for all seven language channels across the general and breakout sessions.

The Result:

By handling the intricate logistics of a hybrid, multi-room setup, we allowed the US Soybean Export Council to focus entirely on their event programming. The integration between the cloud-based platform and the physical onsite headsets was flawless, giving more than 600 in-person attendees crystal-clear, immediate access to critical market insights in their native languages. Our proactive management of the client's internal interpreter team ensured a unified, stress-free execution that maintained professional standards from the opening general session to the final breakout.
