Client Success Story
The Setup:
The Evanston Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization in Evanston, Illinois, dedicated to fostering positive change and growth in their vibrant community that is rooted in justice and equity. For an in-person presentation with about 20 attendees including city representatives, the organization needed a professional Spanish interpreter onsite. The presentation was part of a local initiative that emphasized the social determinants of health, which includes the Latin sector of the city’s population.
The Approach:
Considering the group size and the back-and-forth style of the presentation, Interprenet recommended our consecutive interpretation solution.
The Result:
Interprenet provided a professional Spanish interpreter, experienced in consecutive interpretation for community-related communication. Attendees were able to communicate seamlessly between English and Spanish in a back-and-forth style.
“Thank you so much for an incredible interpreting session. Your services were so appreciated and your interpreter did an incredible job making sure everyone felt included and had language accessibility.” ~ Jenny Valdés Del Valle, Program Officer at ECF
Our interpreter shared this feedback with us afterwards: "The event went well! It was inspiring seeing a room full of femme leaders committed to the Latin community in Evanston.”
